The U11 Girls first home match of the season was played on a hot sunny Saturday morning against a strong Abingdon Youth side.
The match started well, with some fantastic moves from the girls that led to a many chances being created.
A great first goal of the season was scored by Fran in the first half. During the second half, Molly W hit the bar with a fizzing shot and Adelaide hit the post with a lovely strike.
Really strong play by the Girls throughout the match and great credit to Abingdon who played good football and were exceptionally team spirited. Player of the match was Libby flowing a strong performance in defence…
It was a sunny Saturday morning at Charlbury Cricket Club and the U9s welcomed Middleton Cheney for what was a very close and well fought game of football.
A very good game was played with both sides creating a lot of chances and scoring some impressive goals. There was a number of standout performances with Ted making some fine saves in goal, Alfie, Bailey and Bethany with some great defending and Robson and Izzy with a lot of hard work and very impressive football played in the midfield which was creating chances for Harvey and Oscar upfront.
The game ended 3-2 to Middleton Cheney but both sides playing some great football and was played in great spirits.

U12s Cup day for the U12s welcomed a team from two leagues above. However, a strong never give up approach resulted in a fabulous match that Charlbury lost 2-1 late in the game. The team were excellent but a special mention goes to Jackson Brewer in goal who made a selection of astonishing saves. Great promise all round.
U13s Charlbury 6- 1 Witney Vikings
The u13s overcame a lacklustre first half to eventually win 6-1 against a well-organised Witney Vikings team. Tyra Aitken continued his excellent goalscoring form with 5 goals, Ollie Jarvis netting the other.

U15s Charlbury 1-2 Banbury JPL
were involved in a fantastic Oxfordshire County Cup Round 1 match against a very strong JPL team Banbury Utd Youth. With four players out Ill or injured our 11 available players lost 2-1 at Nine Acres. It was an entertaining and competitive match, after going behind in the first half a great long range effort from our inspirational captain Harris Kilburn pulled us level before Banbury grabbed a second half winner. Man of the match Archie Carreras Jago was brilliant throughout and also Aaron Denton deserves a special mention for some outstanding saves and some well judged sweeping up behind the defence throughout.
U16 Girls Crowmarsh 1-6 Charlbury Town Youth
A brace of goals by Ruby Colleton and Tiye Swabey saw the girls run out comfortable winners at a very dry Crowmarsh pitch that saw the ball bobble and bounce around all morning.. The girls cruised into a comfortable 4-0 lead at half time but somewhat lacked the energy to take the game further in the second half although they did benefit by a further own goal and Gaby scoring from close range. The Crowmarsh goal;keeper was outstanding and kept the score to a respectable level.
